Sunset Extrordinaire

Here I am once again at the Cape. It's not that I don't like it, but I just wasn't in the mood for low-key vacationing and trying to fix my grandparents' fucked up computer. Not my idea of a one-day vacation anyway. But we're coming back tomorrow morning, and maybe I'll be able to sleep again. I can't ever sleep while I'm down here.

Went into P-town, walked to the other side of town where there are lots of real estate places and then made a much needed stop. Obviously, where there is a used book sale, there is a Maddy. This is undeniable law of nature. But for real, I found some pretty awesome books, like The Naked Ape (anything concerning evolution is automatically of interest) and the first ever Utopia story, which spawned books like Animal Farm and 1984. Maybe staying up here for a day wasn't quite so bad as I thought, just a tad cut off.

And I guess being up here makes me think, like when I was watching another spectacular sunset (of course, all of them are amazing, the sun literally kisses the water). It just got me to wondering about stuff, like what I wanted in life. A slightly random thing to think about but nonetheless, one that is constantly on my mind. That, and various sexual daydreams. It's fun to think about random things when you're suddenly thrust in a place with so much time on your hands. But yes, I don't mind being busy enough so that sexual daydreams aren't constantly coming up.

So yes, I guess today was in fact a good thing. Although as usual, I'll be happy to be back home again.
